Until a few years ago, the traditional Basque linen had always been in green, red and cream colors with the Basque Cross woven into the pattern. But by popular demand for a change, professional designers have created new patterns with bold colors and a more modern flair.

In many designs, the lines represent the 7 Basques Province - 4 French and 3 Spanish. In others, the lines are there to define the size of the table cloth for the different table sizes.

Woven in the French and Spanish Pyrenees, each Basque item is made from natural fibers such as cotton or a cotton linen mix.
